Passenger traffic at Harrisburg International Airport increased by about 9.2 percent in January when compared with the year-ago period, according to the Susquehanna Area Regional Airport Authority. The authority owns and operates the Dauphin County airport.
More than 98,000 passengers used the airport in January. The number of available seats decreased by about 7 percent, when compared to the same period last year. Seventy-two percent of all departing seats were filled in January.
