While many childhood obesity reports and studies have surfaced during the past year, few organizations have proposed concrete steps to helping children get active and fit. To get kids moving every day, The American Association for Physical Activity and Recreation has created a "Get Moving" activity calendar that provides a new activity kids can do each day. The activities are designed to be easy and fun for kids to follow. Today’s activity is to make a long worm out of yarn and move around carrying the worm on different parts of your body without letting it fall.
