Harsco secures contracts worth $15M

Harsco Corp. today received two contracts worth $15 million
to provide construction and railway equipment to companies in Qatar and Australia.

Harsco Corp. today received two contracts worth $15 million
to provide construction and railway equipment to companies in Qatar and Australia.

Harsco will provide formwork, scaffolding, access towers and
other equipment for construction on Qatar‘s Barwa Commercial Avenue project. The Middle East country is constructing a five-mile-long
development with high-end retail, office space and other buildings. The project
is being led by German contractor Hochtief.

Harsco also will provide railway equipment to Transfield
Services Limited
, an Australian company, for maintenance work. Harsco plans to deliver
two ballast-tamping machines by 2010 to the company.

Harsco, based in
Wormleysburg, Cumberland
County, provides
industrial products and services to companies in various sectors, including
non-residential construction, energy, steel and metals manufacturing and
railways.

The company’s
stocks are traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol HSC.
