Harrisburg Young Professionals open awards nominations to honor area leaders
Listen to this articleHarrisburg Young Professionals (HYP) have opened nominations for the 8th Annual “20 in Their 20s Awards” honoring young leaders in the greater Harrisburg area.
This annual program honors outstanding young professionals in the region who are making meaningful contributions to their industries and communities. According to a release, the awards celebrate the next generation of changemakers who are shaping the future of Central Pennsylvania.
Nominations are open through July 1. Eligibility requirements include the following:
- Must be between the ages of 20 and 29 as of Dec. 31.
- Must work or reside in the greater Harrisburg area.
- Should demonstrate professional excellence, leadership, and civic engagement.
Nominations can be submitted by colleagues, mentors, community members, or self-nomination. Honorees will be celebrated at HYP’s 8th Annual “20 in Their 20s” Awards Ceremony, presented by Members 1st Federal Credit Union, on Nov. 11, at the Hilton Harrisburg.
Tickets for the event will go on sale Oct. 1.
