Harrisburg Young Professionals offer free memberships for professionals impacted by COVID-19

Harrisburg Young Professionals (HYP) is offering free one-year memberships to young professionals impacted by the pandemic.

The Harrisburg-based organization announced this week that it established the COVID-19 Professional Development Fund– a program meant to provide area young professionals financially impacted by the pandemic an opportunity to join at no cost.

HYP offers professional development events, volunteer opportunities and outdoor and entertainment activities as well as discounts with partner businesses throughout Harrisburg for its members.
“HYP is a place where people sharpen their professional skills and develop relationships that often translate into new career opportunities,” said Sydney Kyler, president of HYP. “We hope to facilitate this connection and provide a supportive and welcoming community to those who need a networking boost.”

The new program is funded by the organization’s community donors. Interested parties can register for the free membership through HYP’s website.
