Harrisburg Chamber and CREDC elects chairwomen

The Harrisburg Regional Chamber and Capital Region Economic
Development Corp. (CREDC) elected Sandi Loy Bell and Kelly Powell Logan as
chairwomen of the chamber and CREDC’s board of directors this year.

The Harrisburg Regional Chamber and Capital Region Economic
Development Corp.
(CREDC) elected Sandi Loy Bell and Kelly Powell Logan as
chairwomen of the chamber and CREDC’s board of directors this year.

Bell
will head the chamber board, and Powell Logan will lead the board for CREDC.

Bell is chief executive
officer of Skelly and Loy Inc., an engineering and environmental services firm based
in Swatara Township,
Dauphin County. Bell
earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Penn State University. She is a past president of
the American Society of Highway Engineers and the American Council of
Engineering Companies of Pennsylvania.

Powell Logan is the executive director of Public Service
Programs at American Education Services (AES)/Pennsylvania Higher Education
Assistance Agency (PHEAA)
. Before joining AES/PHEAA, Powell Logan spent eight
years in state government, working her way up to cabinet secretary of the
Department of General Services. Powell Logan earned a Bachelor of Science in
business administration from Villanova
University and a Master of Business
Administration from Penn
State. She also is a
member of the Penn State Harrisburg School of Business Advisory Council and the
board of directors of Leadership Harrisburg Area.
