Harrisburg Academy appoints new development and alumni director

Banking and nonprofit veteran Stacy Klann named to post

A “manager and problem-solver” with 15 years of private-sector business experience is the new director of development and alumni relations for Harrisburg Academy.

Stacy Klann, who started in the new post last week, comes to Harrisburg Academy from Susquehanna Bank in Harrisburg, where she worked as a business services officer.

She was previously at the vice president level at M&T Bank in Harrisburg and National City Corp./PNC in Cleveland. She also has been an active volunteer within the Harrisburg area’s nonprofit community, most notably with the Girls Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania’s board of trustees.

Klann earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Clarion University and a master’s degree in business administration, with a banking and finance and labor and human resource management focus, from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management.

Harrisburg Academy, which is in Cumberland County was established in 1784. It accepts students from preschool through 12th grade.
