The price was not disclosed.
It is the second acquisition for Hanover Logistics in recent years, having purchased the former 435,000-square foot Delia’s distribution facility in 2015. The most recent acquisition increases the company’s total space in the Hanover area to more than 1.2 million square feet.
“Our businesses continue to expand to serve clients who require efficient distribution and transportation services. Locating their inventory near to major northeast and mid-Atlantic markets is a critical element toward accomplishing this,” said Kurt Dietrich, the company’s president.
Hanover Logistics provides warehousing, transportation and e-commerce order fulfillment services through two Hanover-based operating companies: Hanover Terminal Inc., a warehousing company formed in 1956; and R.H. Crawford Inc., a transportation company formed in 1932.
