An official with 30 years of experience in the manufacturing, nonprofit and business-services sectors is the new president of Doceo Growth Partners of Hanover.
Kristi Walsh in the new role will be responsible for managing the daily operations of Doceo Growth, the company said Thursday in a news release.
The company offers business development, sales and marketing services.
“This opportunity provides me with the perfect challenge to utilize my business development, marketing and leadership skills” as well as the chance to work with other Doceo leaders to help the company achieve its goals, Walsh said Thursday in an email.
Walsh holds a degree in business administration from Hardbarger College of North Carolina and earned a professional designation in organizational leadership through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce at Villanova University.
Doceo Growth Partners is a sister company of regional office equipment and software dealership Doceo Office Solutions.
Walsh said Thursday that, while she was serving as vice president of customer development at the York County Chamber of Commerce, she met John Lewis, who was then starting Doceo Office Solutions.
“During my nine years at the Chamber, I watched as John worked hard to build a successful business,” and the two kept in touch, she recalled.
After Lewis told her recently that he was “looking to take Doceo Growth Partners to the next level,” she shared some ideas she had on how to possibly do that, and that led to her being named president of Doceo Growth Partners, Walsh continued.
“Never underestimate the power of your business network,” she added.
