The hiring of Barbara Cantrell , who lives in Baltimore, seems designed to strengthen the Maryland presence of Principle, which also has offices in Ellicott City, Md., and Washington, D.C.
Cantrell has a certified general appraiser license in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and the District of Columbia, according to a news release. She specializes in commercial real estate, Fannie Mae and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development MAP valuations, and HUD rent comparability studies. She previously served as a director of Naples, Fla.-based Valbridge Property Advisors.
Cantrell will also provide oversight of Principle’s daily business operations, the company said.
“Expanding our team of experts is a big decision, especially when making a partner-level addition,” Hlubb said in the news release. “Barbara will bring extensive expertise to her position here and will be a guiding force behind the future growth of the company.”
