Discount retailer Dollar Tree continues to expand its store count in Central Pennsylvania and the rest of the commonwealth.
Metro Commercial on Monday said it has brokered a lease for a Dollar Tree in the Colonial Shopping Center at 5070 Jonestown Road in Lower Paxton Township, Dauphin County. Dollar Tree will occupy 11,756 square feet in the center.
Metro, which has Pennsylvania offices in Philadelphia and Plymouth Meeting, has handled 11 leases for Dollar Tree in the commonwealth over the last 15 months.
Of the previous 10 leases, two were in Central Pennsylvania and the Lehigh Valley. One store is in Penn Town Center in Penn Township, Lancaster County, while the other is in Tilghman Square in South Whitehall Township, Lehigh County.
Dollar Tree operates about 15,237 discount stores in 48 states and five Canadian provinces.
