Groves to retire from F.N.B.

First National Bank of Pennsylvania’s capital region chairman, George H. Groves, is retiring, according to the company.

First National Bank of Pennsylvania’s capital region chairman, George H. Groves, is retiring, according to the company.

Groves in 1999 founded The Legacy Bank, a Dauphin County institution that was acquired by F.N.B. in 2006. Groves will remain a member of F.N.B.’s capital region community board, according to the company.

F.N.B. is a subsidiary of Mercer County-based F.N.B. Corp. F.N.B.’s branch network includes locations in Cumberland and Dauphin counties.
