GGS Technical Publication Services opens location in Shanghai
A York County-based technical information-management company
has a new office in Shanghai.
East Manchester Township-based GGS Technical Publication Services opened the three-person, 14,000-square-foot office Dec. 22.
“The Chinese are becoming more and more of a manufacturing
country – for agriculture, construction, trucking and even aerospace – and
those are the markets we serve,” said GGS President Paul Kilker.
GGS plans to eventually expand the Shanghai office, Kilker said, which might
have ramifications for the company’s midstate workforce.
“This is exploratory for us right now,” Kilker said. “If we
are successful, depending on the size of contract, we could have multiple jobs
open up here.”
GGS also opened locations in Puerto Rico and New York earlier this
year.
