Fulton COO joins Bon-Ton board

A Fulton Financial Corp. executive is expanding his resume into the retail industry.

Fulton Financial COO Philmer Rohrbaugh joined Bon-Ton Stores’ board of directors effective Tuesday, Bon-Ton announced in a news release.

Rohrbaugh has served as Fulton’s COO since June and, since 2012, as a board member of Burnham Holdings Inc., a holding company with subsidiaries in the HVAC industry.

His election increases the size of Bon-Ton’s board to 10 members.

“We’re delighted to welcome Phil and look forward to his guidance and counsel,” Tim Grumbacher, board chairman and strategic initiatives officer, said in the release. “Phil will add to our board’s expertise and working knowledge on matters related to finance and risk management.”

Bon-Ton, which sells clothing, cosmetics and home goods, has 267 stores across the country and corporate headquarters in York County and Milwaukee.
