Fulton adds leaders for mortgage, Philadelphia markets

Scheuren, of Lancaster, will oversee all of Fulton’s mortgage-related functions at Fulton Financial Corp.’s banks in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey and Virginia, according to news releases from Fulton.

Lonergan, meanwhile, will lead Fulton Bank’s operations in Philadelphia and surrounding areas in Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties

Scheuren joined Fulton Mortgage in 2010 as senior vice president of secondary marketing. He held the same position at Waterfield Bank and American Partners Bank, in addition to working in secondary marketing at Gateway Funding Diversified Mortgage Services and National Penn Bank.

“We’re excited that Jeff is now leading our mortgage team,” Craig Roda, chairman and CEO of Fulton Bank, said via email. “Jeff has acquired a wealth of knowledge and expertise from 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry and this has prepared him well for this opportunity.”

Lonergan joins Fulton with 30 years of banking experience.

She most recently served as small business strategy and planning executive for Bank of America. She has also worked as a commercial relationship manager for CoreStates in the Philadelphia market, as well as president and COO of Merrill Lynch Credit Corp., among other leadership positions.

“Susan has a proven track record of building and motivating teams to provide outstanding service to customers and grow relationships,” Roda said in a news release. “Her leadership, wealth of experience and drive to meet the needs of customers will help Fulton Bank expand its presence in the Philadelphia and southeastern Pennsylvania markets.”

Lonergan is a graduate of DeSales University, while Scheuren is an alum of Temple University.
