A Philadelphia-based law firm has recruited a former Montour County district attorney to its Harrisburg office.
Rebecca L. Warren, who was district attorney in Montour County from 2012 to 2016, has joined the litigation department of Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP.
As a partner in the firm, her practice will focus primarily in white collar crime and civil litigation, internal investigations, business compliance, government investigations and the legal aspects of crisis management, according to a news release.
Warren was the first woman to be elected district attorney in Montour County and had her own private practice in Danville from 2002 to 2011. She ran for Justice of the Supreme Court in 2015, but did not earn one of the Republican Party’s three nominations in the primary election.
Obermayer has eight offices in Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and New York, including one in downtown Harrisburg.
