Focus Dynamics Consulting, Millan TecNet Systems to merge

Focus Dynamics, the Lower Paxton Township-based training, leadership development and compliance company, has been doing a lot of work in helping companies with compliance under the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, or HIPAA, Brandt said.
HIPAA mandates strict privacy regulations for patient health and insurance information, including paper and electronic documents.
“Every time we go into a place that wants to be HIPAA compliant, they want the IT side, too,” Brandt said.
Susquehanna Township-based Millan TecNet provides IT and software solutions to business and residential customers.
Millan TecNet owner Mark Millan will be a 50 percent partner in the new venture that will be called Focus TechNet Solutions, Brandt said. The deal is expected to close in about 30 days.
Other clients also need IT solutions to improve their management, training and development structure, Brandt said. The merger will be a way for the partners to broaden their potential business and grow, he said.
