Landmark Commercial Realty announced that JAS Worldwide, a global leader in freight forwarding and logistics solutions, has committed to a long-term lease agreement for a 350,000-square-foot facility at First Logistics Center @ 283, Elizabethtown.

The lease agreement has a total value of $40 million over the next decade, Landmark said.

Completed this year, the industrial space offers state-of-the-art facilities designed to meet the demands of modern logistics and supply chain operations.

“We were excited to work on behalf of JAS Worldwide to secure the new space at the First Logistics Center @ 283 industrial park,” said Jason Grace, CEO and managing principal of Landmark Commercial Realty, said in a release. “Their decision to establish a significant presence in the region underscores the strategic advantages and further enhances the region’s reputation as a hub for logistics and distribution excellence.”

Grace represented JAS Worldwide throughout the leasing process while a team from JLL represented the landlord, First Park 283 Logistics Center LLC.

JAS was founded in 1978 in Milan, Italy, and its global headquarters is in Atlanta, Georgia. Over the last four decades, JAS has grown to a global force in logistics covering all modes of transportation, including contract logistics and other sophisticated and digital-driven supply chain solutions, its website explained. Today, JAS covers more than 100 countries with over 7,000 employees globally.
