First Citizens Community Bank hopes a new loan office will help it earn more business from Lancaster County farmers.
The office is set to open in November at 2403 Main St. in Caernarvon Township. The location will be the northern Pennsylvania-based bank’s second in the county, where it has looked since 2016 to win business in the agricultural community.
“Our expansion strategy for agriculture involves many tactics, including bringing our expertise closer to the farmer,” First Citizens president and CEO Randall Black said in a news release.
Current First Citizens employees Jeffrey Bollinger and Jamie Frees will staff the new loan office.
First Citizens, based in Tioga County, made its first step into Lancaster County last year when it took over a former National Penn Bank branch in Mount Joy.
The bank has 26 offices in Pennsylvania and New York.
