First Citizens Community Bank to open second branch in Lancaster County

First Citizens Community Bank is slated to open a branch later this year at the entrance of Weaver’s Store, a grocer, in Brecknock Township.

The branch, located at 1011 Dry Tavern Road, will provide loan products, cash management services and courier services as well as a 24-hour drive-up ATM.

It is replacing a loan production office that First Citizens opened in 2017 in Caernarvon Township, Lancaster County.

Employees from the Caernarvon office will relocate to the new branch on Dec. 7 and the loan production office will close. Additional staff will be added, according to a press release.

The Caernarvon Township location was geared toward serving agricultural and business customers.

The new location will be the bank’s second full-service branch in Lancaster County. First Citizens’ opened a Mount Joy branch in September 2016.

Headquartered in Mansfield, First Citizens operates 27 offices throughout Tioga, Bradford, Potter, Clinton, Union, Lebanon, Lancaster, Schuylkill and Berks counties in Pennsylvania and Allegany County New York. It has assets of roughly $1.4 billion.
