Susquehanna Valley Marketplace
Vendor registrations are being accepted for the Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce’s its first-ever virtual marketplace, to be held August 1-29. It will be a one-of-a-kind shopping experience and fundraiser to celebrate businesses, restaurants, dealers, vendors and artists while supporting the Chamber. The Chamber is partnering with Alegre Events to present the virtual fundraiser as a safe alternative for in-person creative markets in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This e-commerce experience will allow guests to learn, connect and shop, with a seamless checkout process that drives inquiries and orders to small businesses’ inboxes. A portion of all sales will be donated back to the Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Artisans will receive an online page where customers can easily check out, increasing the opportunity for sales. They will also have multiple opportunities to be discovered on the marketplace site through multiple search options. Additionally, they will gain social media exposure, and digital and print advertising to local news outlets and publications. Vendors will also have the opportunity to share demonstration videos online.
