Geopolitical Risk: Interpreting and Profiting From It
Are you curious about growth opportunities in foreign markets but afraid of new or evolving risks?
Selling or operating abroad can offer significant growth opportunities, while exposing your company to new and incremental risks. Companies often fear elevated credit risk associated with foreign customers, a lack of working capital financing required to support often larger foreign contracts and negative cash flow consequences associated with longer fulfillment cycles. While legitimate, fear and the inability to properly understand and overcome these risks, may limit your company’s growth potential, possibly causing you to lose ground against your competitors.
If you are already active in foreign markets or even just considering it, you will find this webinar useful. We will offer insights on major global themes and geographies, offer advice to help you digest these risks in the context of your business model and offer an overview of common methods utilized to manage these risks.

- Framework to consistently evaluate country/geopolitical risk
- Overview of risk management tools and when you should consider
- Common structured finance techniques that can be used for both risk and liquidity management
