Throughout her career, Erin Letavic has used her skill at environmental engineering to give back to her community over the course of the last 17 years.
The senior project manager for Herbert, Rowland & Grubic (HRG) in Harrisburg has always tried to think of the bigger picture in her work
“My professional career has centered around local water quality that ultimately improves the landscape for everyone,” Letavic says.
Dorothy Berger of HRG agrees.
“It is evident that Erin has already made a significant impact on the well-being of our communities through her chosen profession,” she says in her nomination letter. “Perhaps more importantly, her ambition and accomplishments will inspire others to realize their potential is limitless.”
Most recently, Letavic was appointed to the Chesapeake Bay Program Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) by Governor Wolf. Her work with HRG’s stormwater team has made her “a leader in this field of study,” Berger says.
“My professional career has centered around local water quality that ultimately improves the landscape for everyone,” Letavic states. “I have been a local leader who has successfully promoted clean water and fostered partnerships.”
She says it would surprise people to find that beyond the office, home is where her heart is.
