Monborne has served as CEO for 11 years.
His leadership style is entrepreneurial. Monborne said the firm has created various businesses over the years, such as wealth management, information technology and most recently an outsourcing subsidiary, RKL Virtual Management Solutions. “We find nuggets of services and create businesses out of them to better serve our clients. By being entrepreneurial, we create more entrepreneurs,” he said.
He was hired by Main Hurdman, now KPMG, out of college in 1984 and has been in the financial industry ever since.
Monborne enjoys the outdoors, hunting, fishing and making hot sauce.
