As CEO of RKL LLP, he develops, manages and implements the firm’s strategic directives. This includes RKL’s strategic planning process, guided by the firm’s commitment to the collective success and benefit of its team, clients and communities.
Monborne took the helm as CEO July 1, 2011 and was recently reelected to another five-year term, which starts September 1.
He said it has been a privilege to help build three dynamic businesses over the past 16 years: RKL LLP, RKL eSolutions and RKL Wealth Management. “I’m most proud of the opportunity I get as CEO to support and nurture the team’s innovation, because none of this would be possible without them,” Monborne said.
“You will get knocked down at times in life, but when you do, never ever quit. Get up, dust yourself off and get back in the game,” he said about the most important life lesson he’s learned.
For fun he makes hot sauce to give to friends and family every fall. Monborne has a special recipe and his own logo for the hot sauce. “My recipe has evolved over years of tweaking different seasoning and peppers, and everyone tells me I have reached a perfect blend of heat and flavor,” he said.
