Cumberland County-based Select Medical Corp. reported second-quarter net income of $21 million, down from $33.9 million for the same period last year. Quarterly revenues were $506.5 million in 2007, up from $482.1 million last year.
Select Medical operates 89 long-term, acute-care hospitals, four acute medical-rehabilitation hospitals and more than 1,000 outpatient rehabilitation clinics nationwide.
