The Pennsylvania Downtown Center today convened a meeting in York focused on the stateÂ’s Main Street and Elm Street programs. The programs provide funding to support downtown and neighborhood revitalization.
About 90 program managers and municipal officials are attending the two-day conference at the Yorktowne Hotel. The day began with a tour of Olde Towne East, an Elm Street neighborhood in York. The Pennsylvania Downtown Center is a Harrisburg-based nonprofit that works on improving downtowns and nearby neighborhoods.
