Donegal Group Inc.’s president and CEO will temporarily fill a vacancy on the company’s board.
Kevin Burke, who has been the company’s president and CEO since July 2015, replaces former board member Philip Glatfelter II, who died Oct. 1.
Glatfelter was elected to Donegal’s board in 1986. He also served on Donegal Mutual Insurance Co.’s board, as well as the boards of several Donegal subsidiaries.
Burke could serve as a Class A director until a successor is elected at the company’s annual stockholders’ meeting in April.
In addition to his roles at Donegal Group, Burke has also held the position of executive vice president and COO of Donegal Mutual Insurance Co. since 2014.
