Initial details have been released about the 10th annual Restaurant Week York taking place next month and later in 2020.
Presented by Lancaster-based Fulton Bank, the new biannual celebration of York’s independent restaurant community is scheduled for Feb. 24-March 1 and Sept. 21-27. The event is designed to highlight local, regional and international dishes available on prix-fixe menus at participating York restaurants.
Breakfast, brunch and lunch specials range between $5-$15, while three-course dinner specials are offered for $20-$40. Participating dining establishments also feature special menu items available only during Restaurant Week York, and finalized menus will start to appear online later this month.
Samples of the event’s winter menus will be presented at a preview celebration open to the public at Rockfish Public House, 110 N. George Street, on Feb. 23 from 4-6 p.m. Tickets for the preview event are $20 per person.
The 10th annual event is also sponsored by UPMC Pinnacle, Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits and Jim Beam.
