York-based dental supply company Dentsply International Inc. has signed an agreement with GlaxoSmithKline for a co-branded line of products to combat tooth sensitivity, the companies said.
The partnership allows Dentsply to develop a line of sensitivity products under its Nupro brand and containing GlaxoSmithKline’s NovaMin technology. The products will be co-branded with GlaxoSmithKline’s Sensodyne brand, according to a news release.
United Kingdom-based GlaxoSmithKline is a research-based health care and pharmaceutical company.
Shares of Dentsply are traded on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol XRAY.
