McNees Wallace & Nurick
Elliott joined McNees in 2014 and was elected to membership effective Jan. 1, 2019. She has chaired the Professional Development and Education Committee for almost three years and is co-chair of the Wellness Committee.
She said her practice involves defending self-insured employers in workers compensation matters and representing clients in employment discrimination litigation, ADA/FMLA compliance, drug and alcohol testing and workplace safety and health issues.
Elliott has led McNees’ efforts to promote well-being during the pandemic. “We launched a virtual book club, implemented a virtual yoga and guided meditation program, started online story time … for the children and grandchildren of the firm and hosted trainings on mindfulness and mental health,” she said.
For recreation, “I like to run and am … training for my first marathon,” Elliott said. She added that she also loves spending time with my family – going to the beach, theater and restaurants, exploring Lancaster, and playing with her 160-pound St. Bernard, Finnegan, who is “always happy.”
