Jani said it is fulfilling to help others realize what they can do to improve their health by regularly visiting a high-quality provider and practicing positive health habits. He said within the industry, new treatments such as specialty pharmaceuticals and medication choices based on unique DNA composition are becoming more common. The pandemic has also brought changes to the industry, most notably a shift to virtual patient visits.
“Helping people determine the most effective way to obtain care is important. It’s also important for employers to play a proactive role in valuing their employees by offering comprehensive benefits, especially at a time when inflation and medical costs are rising,” Jani said.
