The restaurant and entertainment chain is slated to open around Oct. 22 in the Cumberland County mall, according to an announcement Friday.
Dave & Buster’s was announced last May as a replacement for Old Navy, which closed at the end of last year. Renovations have been ongoing, but appear to be winding down.
The Dallas-based chain said it is now looking to hire more than 200 people to run the new midstate location.
It will be the first Dave & Buster’s in the central part of the state. The chain’s existing Pennsylvania locations are in the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh areas. The closest locations to the Harrisburg area are in Hanover and Baltimore, Md.
The new location will feature more than 25,000 square feet of entertainment, including hundreds of the latest arcade games and a sports bar filled with dozens of high-definition TVs.
Dave & Buster’s has 117 complexes throughout North America. Shares of the publicly-traded company are traded on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol PLAY.
