Dauphin County co. lands $4 million contract

Swatara Township-based TransCore received a $4 million contract to upgrade the toll collection systems for two bridges in Nova Scotia.

Swatara Township-based TransCore received a $4 million contract to upgrade the toll collection systems for two bridges in Nova Scotia. The contract is with the Halifax-Dartmouth Bridge Commission, which is responsible for two suspension bridges across Halifax Harbour. The project is scheduled for completion by summer 2008.

TransCore is a toll collecting and transportation services company that is owned by Florida-based Roper Industries Inc.
