An alert from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said the incident occurred around 2 p.m.
The York Daily Record reported that a Pennsylvania State Police trooper shot and killed the male driver of a vehicle after the trooper became stuck to the car. The driver tried to drag the trooper onto the cement median, according to a news release. It happened near mile marker 24.
