He has served as president of PeoplesBank for over four years. He was named CEO in October 2021.
Prior to PeoplesBank, he spent three years as regional president for BB&T, after two years as division leader for Susquehanna Bank. Prior to these experiences, Kauffman spent 24 years in a variety of roles including corporate, commercial and business banking at PNC and CoreStates Bank.
His favorite thing to do outside of work—hunting. Kauffman’s passion to hunt and travel has fueled decades of hunting around the world. Over the last 30 years. He has taken over 80 trips on 5 continents, 23 different countries, 6 Canadian Provinces, and 17 States. “I am frequently asked which is my favorite. My reply is ‘my next one,’” he said.
