Long’s Park Amphitheater
What’s not to love about a free, outdoor concert? A grassy lawn and light summer breeze, friendly vibe and a decent view from any angle – these make a concert at Long’s Park Amphitheater in Lancaster a special treat.
Since 1962, Long’s Park has been celebrating music, by making its Summer Music Series concerts free of charge. Admission is made possible through the support of area donors and sponsorships, as well as proceeds from the annual Labor Day Juried Arts Festival, which started in 1979. The arts festival draws high quality artists and crafters from across the United States and brings them to Lancaster.
As with any non-profit it is Long’s Park volunteers that make everything run smoothly.
Musicians in many genres come to Long’s Park to entertain audiences performing Blues, Latin, Celtic, World, Classical, Folk, Bluegrass, Country, and of course good old-fashioned Rock and Roll.
More than 80,000 people attend 12 family-friendly concerts headlined by nationally known performing artists.
The Latin Concert and World’s Largest Barbeque held by Civitas is another reason to come to Long’s Amphitheater.
