One tenant has committed to open an office in the
15,000-square-foot building at the corner of Trindle Road and Fairfield Street in South Middleton
Township once it’s
complete, said Bill Hooke, a partner with the real estate developer. He
declined to release the tenant’s name.
The building is expected to be completed before the fall
when the first tenant wants to move in, Hooke said. The building will be flex
space with contractors building each space to meet tenant needs, he said.
Workers are now clearing the 2-acre lot next to I-81 and across the street from
the Trindle Inn bar, he said.
Total cost for the project is pegged between $1.5 and $1.7
million, he said.
Hooke and Suter develop mobile-home parks, strip malls,
apartment buildings and hotels in Central Pennsylvania.
Hooke is also a partner in Carlisle-based Hooke, Hooke &
Eckman Realtors. The business will move next week from 320-322 S. Hanover Street to 977 Walnut Bottom Road, South
Middleton Township, he said. The company needed more space, he said.
