A bakery and coffee house and a distillery are coming to Tanger Outlets Lancaster this spring.
Butter and Bean Café and Chicken Hill Distillery will open at the outlet center on Lincoln Highway East, adding to the center’s growing roster of quick-serve eateries and specialty shops, Tanger said.
“We continually seek to expand our food and beverage offerings at Tanger Outlets Lancaster and welcome the opportunity to include two Pennsylvanian brands — Chicken Hill Distillery and local-favorite Butter and Bean Café — which will provide shoppers with new flavors and fresh experiences to enhance their visits to the center,” said Tanger Outlets Lancaster Marketing Director Monica Trego.
Butter and Bean Café will open in a 1,500-square-foot space near Shopper Services and Clarks Outlet in late February.
The Latina-owned and operated bakery and coffeehouse, which has a store at 100 S. Queen St., Lancaster, uses Latin American coffee beans sourced from a local Latino-owned roaster for its coffee and espresso. The shop also offers a selection of sandwiches, paninis, flatbreads, salads and soups, in addition to an assortment of baked goods.
Chicken Hill Distillery, which plans to open in mid-March, will be located near Levi’s. The 2,500-square-foot distillery will offer a selection of corn whiskey products, including brandy, bourbon, rum, whiskey and the brand’s specialty, legal moonshine. The store will also offer branded merchandise, drink mixes and spices.
