A Central Pennsylvania distillery continues to earn national awards.
Gettysburg-based Mason Dixon Distillery gained multiple gold and platinum medals for its canned cocktails at recent national competitions. Mason Dixon Canned Cocktails claimed two gold medals at the San Francisco RTD Competition and three platinum medals at the distinguished American Spirits Council of Tasters Competition, where products are judged blind by over 50 of the world’s best spirits experts.
Mason Dixon’s Jalapeno Mule, Lavender Lemonade, & Long Island Iced Tea canned cocktails were each awarded platinum medals. According to a release, judges praised the cocktails for their flavor, balance, drinkability, and overall craftsmanship.
These honors followed awards received at several competitions, including Best Canned Cocktail at PA State Competition and double golds at Denver International Sprits Competition.
“These awards reflect the tremendous work and dedication that goes into every product we make,” Owner Yianni Barakos said in a statement. “We are proud to be representing Pennsylvania on a national level and are grateful for the support of our customers, retail partners, and community.”
