White Collar Defense
Saxton & Stump, Senior Counsel
Morris joined Saxton & Stump in February after four years as a Pennsylvania deputy attorney general. Before that, Morris was a trial and appellate attorney in Philadelphia with a focus in white collar criminal and regulatory defense in federal and state courts.
“I lead the firm’s growing white collar defense practice, which …includes a strong team of attorneys and former judges,” Morris said. He advises clients on matters ranging from criminal defense representation to civil and administrative investigations.
While with the Office of Attorney General, he is proud of having led a years-long defense of the constitutionality of Pennsylvania’s sex offender registration statutes, “which culminated in several successful appeals in Pennsylvania Supreme Court,” Morris said.
“Outside of work, family is my focus,” he said. “My wife and I have two young boys who are about as much fun as we can handle. She and I enjoy going out for a nice dinner on occasion and, very rarely, we get away for a concert or dancing.”
