Company description: Career coaching and professional services firm

Professional/community affiliations: West Shore Chamber of Commerce, board member; Central Penn College Education Foundation, board of trustees, President’s Circle; Business Women’s Forum, event co-chair; Pennsylvania Bankers Association; Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers; American Society for Training and Development, Central Pennsylvania Chapter; National Career Development Association

Alternate career: I would open a mail-order cookie business and use a part of the profits to support autism research. My nephew has autism, so baking cookies is an activity he and I do together.

Advice to pass along: I am a big believer in benchmarking and looking to best practices outside of my current industry. “Borrowing” best practices from other industries provides a fresh perspective to generate new ideas and ways of doing things.
