Perry joined Tucker Arensberg in 2020, after closing the law firm he owned and managed for 25 years. A graduate of New England Law | Boston, he represents individuals and corporations in criminal matters.

Perry said he developed a love of being in the courtroom after working in the Bradford County Domestic Relations office while a high school student. “Over 30 years later, I still like the preparation and strategy involved in criminal cases and the pressure and intensity of jury trials. I can’t imagine doing anything else.”

The best part of his job, he said is “helping people at the worst time of their lives.” This is also a challenge “because I am often the only one these people have for support. This literally means being available 24/7 … .” However, “there is no bigger reward than a client telling you that you changed their life for the better.”

Former Bradford County President Judge Jeffrey Smith, whom he clerked for, is one of Perry’s mentors. “He taught me to be myself and enjoy the practice of law.” His first boss, Dauphin County President Judge (and former District Attorney) John Cherry, “gave me a ton of confidence” and introduced him to Matt Gover, “who taught me how to run a law practice and to treat clients like family.”
