BrewVino to close downtown York location

Following on the heels of York Blue Moon and the Accomac Inn, a third popular York restaurant has announced its upcoming closure

BrewVino, a handcrafted pizza restaurant, will be closing its downtown York location, effective Sunday, Dec. 23.

The announcement was made via a Facebook post on Dec. 19.

“Downtown York is where it all began for BrewVino. In 2014 we ventured to 251 N. George Street not knowing if ‘another restaurant’ was going to make it at that location. We knew we had a concept that the City of York needed!  We took a chance and made it to about 4.5 years at that location,” the post reads.

BrewVino staff will not miss any shifts before the holidays, according to the post, and all current staff members will be moving to BrewVino’s second location at Grandview Golf Club, 2779 Carlisle Road, in Dover Township. Gift cards from the downtown BrewVino will be accepted at the York location, according to the post.

BrewVino owners could not be reached for comment.
