Two employees of Boyer & Ritter LLC have been elected principal owners of the East Pennsboro Township-based accounting firm.
Romulus C. Comly and Kimbarley A. Williams were elected as principal owner following a vote by the firm’s 11 other principals.
“Romulus and Kim have been stellar team members,’’ said Robert J. Murphy, principal and CEO of Boyer & Ritter. “Both bring a great amount of experience and expertise to the firm and have shown their commitment and dedication to providing the utmost service to our clients.’’
Comly gives accounting, auditing, tax and management consulting services for the firm out of its State College office. A certified public accountant and certified fraud examiner, Comly earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Penn State. He is a member of the Downtown State College Improvement District’s finance committee and a member of the board of directors of the YMCA of Centre County.
Williams co-chairs the firm’s employee benefit plan services group and provides auditing, accounting, tax and consulting services. A certified public accountant, Williams earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Edinboro University.
Since 2006, Williams has served as board treasurer for Commuter Services of Pennsylvania, which promotes air quality and traffic solutions by finding alternate modes of transportation, and she serves on the finance committee of the United Way of the Capital Region.
Boyer & Ritter has provided accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting services to businesses and industries throughout Pennsylvania and other parts of the U.S. since 1926, according to the firm. It has offices in East Pennsboro Township, Carlisle, Chambersburg and State College.
