Werzyn said he leads the organization “by setting audacious goals and investing in the highly capable men and women who share my vision of ‘Bringing Happiness to Every Home.’”
He founded West Shore Home nearly 16 years ago.
He finds having a vision and then working aggressively to accomplish it satisfying. “There’s an immense satisfaction in the planning and hard work that goes into overcoming obstacles, accomplishing a goal, and being better because of it,” Werzyn said.
He said his relationship with Jocko Willink and his Echelon Front leadership organization had the most impact on his career. “Bringing the Extreme Ownership mindset into the business helped propel our fast growth by allowing us to see the business with egoless clarity which maximized efficiency and shortened the time it takes to solve problems,” Werzyn said.
He advises young people entering his field to “relentlessly pursue better. Celebrate success, but never
become complacent. Measure everything and use data to get better every day.”
