Awards: RKL eSolutions, Harsco Corp. and more

Accounting

Lancaster-based RKL eSolutions LLC, an internet technology and ERP software consultant, was again named to Accounting Today’s value-added resellers 100 list. With reported revenue of $28 million in 2021, RKL eSolutions, a subsidiary of advisory firm RKL LLP, took the 35^th spot.

Environmental

Camp Hill-based Harsco Corp., a global market provider of environmental solutions for industrial and specialty by-products, announced that Engineering News-Record has named its Clean Earth and Harsco Environmental divisions to the annual Top 200 Environmental Firms list. Both ranked in the top 30 for the second consecutive year.

Food

Fredericksburg, Lebanon County-based Bell & Evans, the oldest branded chicken company in the U.S., received Food Engineering’s Plant of the Year award for its new $360 million facility.

The Hershey Co.’s U.S. business has been certified by Great Place to Work, an award based entirely on what current employees say about their experience. This year’s survey of Hershey employees noted justice, pride and leadership as particular strengths for the company. Hershey’s U.S. business joins operations in Brazil and India in earning this honor.

Government

The Wolf administration’s efforts to take a more holistic approach to energy sustainability were nationally recognized for the third consecutive year as Pennsylvania was named a recipient of the 2022 Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool Purchaser Award, according to Department of General Services Acting Secretary Joe Lee, who made the announcement. The commonwealth was one of only seven states awarded this year.

Over the three-year period for which Pennsylvania has been recognized, nearly 127,000 units of sustainable electronics have been purchased with an associated cost savings of nearly $3.9 million.

Health Care

In recognition of its achievement and innovation in environmental sustainability, WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon received the 2022 Partner Recognition Award from Practice Greenhealth, the nation’s leading organization dedicated to environmental sustainability in health care.
