The abrupt halt will end a pilot test that Nike and Amazon launched together in 2017. At the time, Nike agreed to sell a limited product assortment to Amazon, in exchange for stricter policing of counterfeits and restrictions on unsanctioned sales of its products. Healthcare-associated infections decline in Pa.

Healthcare-associated infections declined in Pennsylvania, according to the most recent report from The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The 2018 National and State Healthcare-associated Infections Progress Report shows that acute-care hospitals in Pennsylvania achieved reductions for six of seven types of infections tracked, compared to 2015.

McDonald’s workers sue to address ‘systemic problem’ of sexual harassment

McDonald’s Corp. workers in Michigan filed a class action lawsuit on Tuesday accusing the fast-food chain of having a “systemic problem” of sexual harassment. The proposed class action lawsuit filed in Michigan state court accuses Illinois-based McDonald’s of lacking policies to prevent and address sexual harassment and retaliation against workers who complain.
