The global commercial suspended ceiling solutions provider is the dominant player in the industry. Top competitors include United States Gypsum and CertainTeed.

Armstrong Flooring Inc.

  • Revenue: $1.2 billion in 2015
  • Employees: 3,700 worldwide
  • Facilities: Operating 17 manufacturing facilities in three countries

Armstrong, the top manufacturer for hard surface flooring products, expanded its Lancaster flooring plant to the tune of $41 million to bolster its luxury vinyl tile output. LVT is the fastest-growing segment of resilient flooring, accounting for about 15 percent of the company’s sales in 2015.
