In support of its work to transform the Lancaster community through ethical and inclusive entrepreneurship, ASSETS Lancaster has received a $10,000 donation from Fulton Bank.
A non-profit organization focused on transforming communities through business, ASSETS works with over 4,000 businesses and entrepreneurs and provides entrepreneur training and community lending.
ASSETS CEO Jaime Arroyo said in a statement that inclusive entrepreneurship combined with ethical business can transform a community for the better.
“Our mission is to give local entrepreneurs the competitive advantage they need to launch and grow their businesses,” said Arroyo. “In addition to government and non-profits, local companies have a key role to play in this effort, and we are grateful for Fulton Bank’s ongoing support.”
Based in Lancaster, Fulton Bank is a subsidiary of Fulton Financial Corporation.
“At Fulton Bank, we’ve been fortunate to call Lancaster our home since we were founded here more than 140 years ago,” Fulton Bank Senior Vice President and Regional Commercial Executive Phil Smith said. “We’ve learned that when everyone has access to the resources and expertise to realize their full potential, the entire community prospers.
“ASSETS is a key partner in advancing that mission, and we are proud to work alongside them.”
Fulton Bank’s contribution was made through the Neighborhood Assistance Tax Credit Program of the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development.
